Hello,

Does anyone have any information on Buda or Kyle? Good areas? Good schools? Thanks!

I posted a question about Kyle a few days ago but no one responded. Sorry, I saw a response to that after I typed this-thanks!
We visited there last year and really liked it. I am thinking very seriously about that area because it's not far away from Austin and there are new home popping up everywhere. The established neighborhoods were beautiful too. Everything looks so pretty and new. It looked like some new shopping centers were going up when we were there too.

I would love to know more about schools and anything else anyone can tell me.
I hope someone can help us!

Hays ISD is perfectly fine as long as your kids go to schools west of I-35.

Kyle's new homes are mostly entry level and difficult to sell since you're competing with a ton of new construction...last I heard, the City of Kyle had like 8,000 lots already platted for new homes. Resales in tract subdivisions will never compete with the new ones. Buda's new subdivisions tend to start at 190K or so.
