We are being charged by the weight also. We have a 4 bedroom home with lots of furniture. We got 2 quotes, one from Allied for $9,000 and one from Bekins for $8,000. Both companies came out to give their estimate. We went with the GNTE also. I am sure it would have been cheaper if we did all the packing ourselves but that is way too much work. We are so excited to start a life in Austin. City-Date forum has helped us so much. What a great site.
