I'm sorta part of a group that's taking part in the 48hr film fest here in Austin. I'm trying to help find interesting places to film that will let you sign a release.

Thing is, the film fest won't give you your genre until just before the event, so you need places lined up and ready to go.

I've heard of Cathedral of Junk and Austin Enchanted Forest and I'll look into their release info tomorrow.

City of Austin parks charge and I think we need to pay a fee (though it's been suggested to me that you may not need to bother if you are quick).

Any thoughts on interesting places here in ATX with owners who would be ok with having a few people traipse through and film there? TIA.
