Can anyone recommend a good place to stay a Saturday night in the Wimberley (or other Hill Country) area?

We'd also like to do the outdoor movie in Wimberley's Corral Theatre on Saturday night, so that's our first choice of location.

We have a guest who would like to see the area, plus 3 kids with us, so somewhere with fun and maybe water activities would be good, but not essential.

thanks!

I would look to rent a place off ..VRBO® is Vacation Rentals by Owner® Vacation Homes Rentals by Owner (http://www.vrbo.com - broken link) or Vacation Rentals, Vacation Homes, Vacation Rental Home, HomeAway.

If you want to play in the water near Wimberly, I'd recommend staying on the Blanco River. The water's warm and clear....beautiful.

Thanks for the VRBO suggestion, but they all do 2 nights minimum at weekends - so do the B&B's. We were hoping to just stay a Saturday night - I guess if I call them ON a Saturday for the same night it may be a different story...
