Anyone know of any CHEAP hotels, motels, or inns anywhere in the Austin area that allow long stays (about a month or less)??? I also have 3 dogs if you know of pet-friendly places to stay.

I want to move to Austin but I figure I will stay in a cheap motel until I can find a decent place to live and put my stuff in storage in the meantime.

Try America's Best Value Inn. I stayed there last time I was in Austin and I am staying there again in July. Americas Best Value Inns, Suites and Hotels Austin TX US- Reservations 888-315-2378

It is pretty decent for a cheap place and we talked to a lady who had been staying there awhile with their three pugs. Call and see if they allow dogs for sure however.

I have was at the Candlewood suite in NW Austin as well as the La Quinta with my dogs. Motel 6's are also dog friendly motels.

This site advertises apartments that allow dogs.

There are also a few of those Extended Stays in Austin itself. Family stayed in one when they came to visit last month and said it was great.
