Does anyone have good recent pics of the city of Round Rock? I'd love to get an idea what it looks like.

I'm sorry I don't have any pictures to show you but if you google Round Rock and click on images it may show some of the town. I moved here from San Antonio and love it. Mainly because its a family/children friendly community. It's close enough to Austin if I want to go into the city and do things there that Round Rock can't offer but as far as the town itself, it is growing. We have opened up 2 new major hospitals in the area, plus a seperate rehab hospital. We are the 13th safest city in America and whatever you need is all here within 10min. The new Tera Vista community is beautiful, with its own golf course. As far as a night life here, there are small pubs, bars, and on mainstreet you will find tea shops, restaurants, and boutiques. Its a small city but is growing and is easily commutable to any part of Austin, Hutto, or Georgetown.

Excellent, sounds great. No need for night life, since we're home ALL THE TIME! We love to be with our kids. How's Hutto compare?

I live in Hutto. I like living here, but it's hard to compare it to Round Rock because it's smaller, but it's growing pretty quickly. We have some good resturaunts/cafes here, we have a small downtown that is going to be added to here pretty soon. There are also 2 other pretty large retail/residential projects going on. Rural areas of Round Rock, Georgetown, Taylor and Hutto all have lots of homes with horse stables, barns, and tanks (small ponds) on them. There are several horse farms, ranches, and acreage properties around the areas too.
