Anyone else tried Sirlion Stockade in Round Rock. We went there a few days ago and found the food to be somewhat decent but the atmosphere felt very uncomfortable and dirty. I really couldnt figure out what it was but something bothered me as I ate dinner. The desserts were excellent by the way.

Its ok, but you get what you pay for.

The "dirty" feel is probably the carpet, needs cleaning.

It is comparable to the Golden Corral. I think the the meats and deserts are better at SS but the sides are better at GC. The latter has a senior citizens early bird special between 2-4PM for $6.50 including beverage. If you get there just before 4PM, you can enjoy the dinner items which vary depending upon day of week. Ryan's sucks...no comparison to the other two.

I personally don't like buffets in general but my husband loves them. We've never been for dinner but have gone on Saturdays for breakfast. My husband loooves that place. It reminds him of the buffets in Reno and breakfast is his favorite meal.

My daughter loves it to because she can pick and choose. She eats like a bird and I always feel guilty that she takes little tastes of everything and they end up throwing out a lot of food. Since she's still under 3 she can eat for free and for less than $20 for two adult buffets it's pretty cheap eats.
