Hi,

My fiance and I are trying to figure out which city to move to after we get married. His job is in Bay Area, CA and mine is in San Antonio, TX. So either I move there or he moves here.

We are trying to weigh out the pros and cons just from the cities point of view right now like cost of living, general atmosphere in both these cities, etc.

Can anyone help us out here.

Thanks
T.H.

Hello!

A few questions for you:

Where in the Bay Area? San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, San Jose, Palo Alto? San Francisco proper or the East Bay?

PM me and I'd be happy to offer my opinion in an effort to help you weigh in!

Regards.

I'm confused...you work in San Antonio but you're asking about Austin. You aren't thinking about commuting, are you??

Good Catch! I missed that the first time I read that. If you are going to be working in San Antonio, it would definitely be a better idea to be looking in San Antonio, as it's 2 hours from Austin and that would be a pretty huge commute.
