This is the Austin forum so I don't know how many people from Odessa will be perusing the board. But that is a really weird - it seems like way back when I was in high school and we did a pen pal exchange with some kids in Europe, we had to elect into the program. Anything that is unsolicited like that should be suspect.

Hi there, so glad to find some folks living in Austin, Tx. I am a black female in my mid 30's and i am considering moving to Austin from NY city in a few months, but i dont know anyone.Can someone give me some advice about Austin?do you think it will be a difficult transtion for me.
