Probably a weird question, but I was very shocked to find out that HEB or walmart had any LA VIctoria taco sauce. Has anyone ever seen it out here? Its my favorite and my tacos just arent the same without it. i should have checked out something this important before I moved here! (j/k)

Have you tried Fiesta? They carry a lot of different brands than HEB or Walmart. La Victoria is a California based company, so it's not so odd that they wouldn't carry it here. It looks like you can order it online, but why not take the oppotunity to check out some of the great local and Mexican sauces available!

They have an on-line store distribution operation in Illinois that could help if all else fails. Good luck.

I didnt know you guys had fiesta market, ill try there. I like trying the new sauces with authentic mexican food, but my at home ground turkey tacos dont taste right without out the Lawry's seasoning packet and La Victoria salsa. Speaking of Mexican is Taco Cabana any good? I see the commercial non-stop. Taco Cabana, Church's chicken, and DQ commercials drive me crazy they come on constantly!

Taco Cabana used to be good when they first started out. Some of their stuff is still OK. It's basically fast food but kicked up a notch (a small notch). It beats Taco Bell any day of the week, but that's not saying much. Their breakfast tacos are good and their salsa is fresh.

I've seen it at my H.E.B too. I've actually bought it myself. I like Taco Cabana. The rotisserie chicken is good and the breakfast tacos are too. DQ...I actually missed this when we moved to Denver. There had been one there, but not a year after we moved there the darned thing caught fire and they never rebuilt it I like Churches spicy chicken.

I have never seen it at HEB or any other market in Central Austin. Like the OP, I find La Victoria to be the best of the bunch. We go to San Diego every three months or so and usually bring back several bottles in the checked luggage. I bought it online once but the shipping charges are prohibitive.

Ive been to two HEB and I havent seen it and I looked up and down that aisle. I also stopped by the Fiesta market and that place was a hot mess! It was crowded with rude people and tons of unattended kids and they didnt have it either. To top it off the wouldnt sell me liquor cause my DL is out of state. They said its against the law! That place is horrible I will never go there again. I will probably try Taco Cabana one day there is one not too far from my house and 3.99 enchiladas are pretty cheap.
