So, that date that everything becomes digital across the country is like February something.

Does anyone know if Dish Net. will start carrying the locals in HD? or will I be able to continue using the antenna to get the locals in HD?

I called Dish Net, but they confused me.

If you are using an antenna to receive the locals in HD, you should be fine -- the HD signal is already digital. It's if you were receiving the analog signal over the antenna, that's gonna be gone... analog over cable will still exist, and if you were getting locals over Dish in non-HD, that will still work. Whether they will carry the locals in HD on Dish, I don't know...

Dish has them in HD, but they charge for local stations . We just wired up our antennae to get them for free...
