so i'm thinking of relocating to phoenix, austin, huston, or ATL(yhea!),can anyone provide me with info on what the architecture job market is like in any of these areas?

Are you a licensed architect? Austin: Billings are way down for residential and commercial real estate. Educational and institutional market was stronger but is now weakening. Most big firms are letting part-timers and contract folks go, and battening down the hatches for a slow spell.

Of the markets you mentioned Austin is probably the strongest and the smallest. Certainly there is no huge need for achitects right now, most existing ones are happy to have work.

Architectural billings are low all across the US right now.

Do you have a plan B?
