Pflugerville is to the Austin area as Beaumont is to Texas.

I definitely don't mean to nitpick, but it's currently rated a 7 on greatschools.org.

But, if you look at the reviews, there are 5 or 6 good reviews by parents/students for every 1 bad review. That's a good place to see about 20 reviews at least.

Then it went down because it was an 8 last year. Which shows you that focusing on ratings is kinda pointless.

I don't have personal experience because my oldest is 8, but I'm zoned to it and know quite a few parents whose kids attend the school.

My son graduated from there in 2009.
It has its share of problems but overall not a bad school.
It does cover a wide area to the east and southeast so its not just the surrounding subdivisions that go to Hendrickson.

92% graduated in 2013.

Do you think the school system will continue to improve over time as more affluent families continue to move into all of the new subdivisions in northeast Pf?

Unless they plan to build a new HS then you will still get incoming students from the "less affluent" areas.

And I wouldn't ever describe a subdivision where you can get a five bedroom tract home built for far less than $250K as "more affluent." There are reasons things cost what they do.
