My condolences to her family and friends. What a very sad story. We are only hearing about this because Jennifer is a well-known homeless person - we don't hear about the other homeless who freeze on the streets................

I just saw on the news that 138 homeless have died on the streets of Austin from Oct 2007 through Oct 2008. That seems like an awful lot, especially for a place that doesn't freeze often. Very sad.

She worked very hard for the homeless community. How sad.

Well that's the stat that was shown on a local News program. Whether or not it's accurate would take some digging. It shocked me when I saw it.
