Hi

We will be visiting Austin for 6 days in July 2009 and are looking for a nice place to stay with our kids (aged 5-14), not too expensive.
Any suggestions?

Thanks.

We rented a 3bdrm 2 bath house for about $175 a night on VRBO® is Vacation Rentals By Owner (http://www.vrbo.com - broken link) It was in a residential neighborhood and we had a garage, full kitchen, cable, dvd player etc etc. There was a playground in walking distance and a community pool which was closed during the winter. Not bad at all. Send me an email if you can't find the listing--the house was about 10 miles from downtown in South Austin.

Pam

Look on Craigs List or check out the extended stay places. Good Luck, enjoy your stay.
