I haven't heard anyone talk about St. Austin's here. (Maybe because it's a grammar school?) This is the school that is close to UT. What it the perception of it and how does it rank compared to St. Andrews and St. Stephens, or St. Michaels? Thanks

My niece goes to St. Austin's. They love it. Small, intimate school. If you are employed by the University, I can't think of a more convenient school.

I have heard great things about St. Austin's but have no direct experience. If you are Catholic, you should also consider St. Gabriel's (SW) or St. Theresa's (NW). I know that St. Austin has smaller classes than St. Gabriel's. Many (most?) kids from all three schools end up at St. Michael's for high school.

I guess if you're Catholic, it would be a great choice.
I have to say that the facilities, being in such an urban area, are so-so. There are many street people who hang out in front of the school- I don't think that's so great.
