Yeah, it was pretty amazing! My whole company gathered to watch in a conference room. Many of us cried.

You bet!

I've been watching C-Span all day. Have a neighborhood party tonight and a pig roast out in the country this weekend to celebrate!

Everyone where I teach cancelled their classes today...so I did as well! I watched the coverage to the point of saturation. The last thing I saw was Al Roker yelling to Obama as he walked passed, begging him to make some weather quip...which he did!...and all the rest of the coverage team erupted in weary, giddiness. Must have been some inside joke. Amazing!

What a day! I don't know how much you all kept up with the George and his website but our wonderful new President has set up a blog, a page for everything..... transparancy. I am so happy I could die. I have 2 daughters there in Austin (adults) and am so thrilled for them!!! And me of course. This is such a wonderful day of healing and thankfulness for this beautiful Country! Change has come!

It was a great day, lots of cheerful positivity and optimism. We also watched most of the day at work and I went to a celebration party tonight. I think inauguration days should be national holidays! Let's see how long the honeymoon lasts!

I loved Michelle's dresses today, by the way.

Regarding the honeymoon, the guy is so far up on a pedestal that when he falls (which he will, he's human), he's got a LOOOOOONG way to fall. I'm hoping that doesn't happen for a long time.

As for Michelle's yellow dress.... it thought it was too "mother of the bride!" She's a young, attractive woman. I thought she could have done better. I get that it was cold, however, and she needed to be bundled up.
