I find it interesting that SA has neighborhoods, but not really suburbs. Austin has plenty of suburbs.

Or, urbanization all along I-35 will reach the point where San Antonio-Austin are twin cities.

It is just a matter of time before the two cities will share the same profession fottball, baseball and basketball teams

I don't know! Since it seems that even our Tex-Mex in Austin and SA remains distinct, I would bet that two distinct cities will remain separate but with a shared corridor of towns/suburbs along I-35.
