Figure there must be someone over 65 here.

My mother is moving to Austin (I'm already here) in a month. Her medicare supplement provider, Secure Horizons, doesn't operate here. I found a list of providers on the medicare site, but no way of knowing which is best. Does anyone have a plan they like?

While we are at it, any other good senior tips for newcomers?

I went to: texasbestmedicare.com and was able to view the rates and Information on Medicare Supplements in Texas, and then purchased a plan that I liked.
