If there is a race at Lone Star, baseball game or a wreck, you're basically screwed. Texas stadium was 5 miles from downtown, but still took 90 minutes from downtown to your parking spot. I won't miss it, I have a flatscreen.
years ago, probably at least 10 my husband had received tickets to a pre season game (now remember, it was pre-season) being an avid Broncos fan and that is who the Cowgirls, I mean boys were playing I couldn't wait to go. The tickets were in the inzone and about as high up as one could get..Retail price per ticket< $34.00 each plus parking (in the middle of the freeway almost) $8.00. It was a miserably hot summer night so as soon as we got settled I told hubby I would go get us a beer or something plus we hadn't eaten..Well, I got to the snack bar, beer was about $6.00 (draft) a bottle of water $4.00 and I didn't even check the prices of the other stuff. It ended up with my getting us each a bottle of water, we stayed long enough for me to see Elway in the game and left at half time..again, remember this was at least 10 years ago, maybe a little longer and a pre-season game..
Heck I don't even care if I have a flascreen, I will watch the games from my comffy chair, get myself a glass or wine and a bottle of water..I could have the TV paid for in about a year with the money I saved not going to the games...

when I typed that my mind went blank. I thought even then, something is wrong: I meant End Zone of course.
