I've suspected I have a restricted breathing problem for some time and finally went to see an ENT doctor last week. He was one I randomly selected in my in-network PPO list. Well, after a quick checkup, he told me I have a severe deviated septum in the left side of my nose and wants to operate.

Thing is, while the diagnosis is most likely valid, I did NOT feel comfortable with the doctor. He wouldn't listen to a word I said and appeared to be nervous and rushed. Not exactly the type of guy I want performing surgery on me.

Can anyone recommend a great ENT doctor in or around the Austin area? I'd like not only to get a second opinion, but have a doctor I feel comfortable with wielding the scalpel.

Thanks!

Dr. Mark Brown performed mine and I was very pleased with him. He used to be with ARC Otolaryngology group. He did my surgery as well as my sons tubes! He came highly recommended to me by several folks and did not dissapoint.
