Super high-quality. I mean they're expensive, but you get what you pay for. Well worth it. Even the Kenmore Pro-Series.

Anyone know if it's normal to have to hold down the power button for a second on a samsung dryer in order to turn it on? (The washer turns on with just a press)

Just a thought - I found out this week that the Sears appliance center will match any other price, plus 10%. So you get a price even lower than Best Buy, Lowe's or Home Depot. And Sears has a pretty good reputation for service.

LG has a bad repair situation. To my knowledge the manufacture all part sin Korea so you can wait along time for parts. Just FYI.

I bought a Samsung Refrigerator about 3 years ago and about 5 months ago my motherboard went out and it had to be repaired and yesterday it just stopped cooling all together and I paid 2,300 for it. I will never buy another Samsung refrigerator again. I also have the Samsung front load washer and dryer but the work fine.

Anyone own these brands and had problems or good luck with repairs?
Sears Home Services provides repairs for just about every appliance made. We have always received good services from them here in Austin.
