Then that means you should avoid about half the posters that frequent this board. Plus, what you say is part of the reason Austin is only a shadow of it's former self. Snobbery wasn't this prevalent 10 yrs. ago.

That's for sure! I love the winters here except for the rare frequency when the roads totally ice over. I got my license well after moving here, but I always remember my parents complaining about how people in south texas can't even drive in the rain much less ice...hehe. i guess b/c both are a rare occurrence it seems..

We do have winter, we just don't have snow. It does get cold, we get a couple of hard freezes that will kill everything in your yard and about a month of gloomy, cold, rainy days. The glorious summer, though, makes up for it! Just don't give all your sweaters away!

This is a ridiculous post. I know many fine people who live in various areas of Williamson county. They are simply good people whose needs are met in those areas. They are NOT all conservatives.

I think the most identifiable trait of Williamson county is that you don't want to be a criminal. If caught and convicted - you will receive a stiff sentence. The juries don't mess around.
