When I lived in the West Campus area that power went out ALL the time, and seemingly for no reason. The trees are old and all over the power lines there, so I think even a slight gust of wind would knock the power out.

This is the first time in quite some time, and can't recall the last time. At least two years ago. I was just curious because in a heat wave like this, if it was in CA, there would have been rolling controlled Black Outs to prevent the Grid from shutting down. Glad that wasn't the case here.
