I have scanned, re-scanned, moved rabbit ears around...I cannot get Fox 7KTBC on my HDTV. What am I doing wrong? Did I miss the memo? Help.

Same here. Thanks for bringing this up. I think it happened since the shutdown of the analog broadcast in June. Football season is almost here. And this is the only time I will tune in to Fox.

I found this on their website:

DTV Progress Update: July 14

July 14 Progress Update: FOX 7 is in the home stretch. The support mount is in place and we are ready to install the new antenna. Unfortunately, the weather is not co-operating. The crew needs a calm day with winds below 15 mph to safely hoist the antenna and drop it into place …

Thanks for your information.

That's one of the reason I don't like to watch KTBC other than NFL games. They have so many time to prepare for the digital change over, and they chose to do this antenna stuff after the change over?!! Ridiculous!

It looks like they got the antenna up today and now have to install the transmission line. They hope to be broadcasting at full power by the 23rd or 24th.

Very sad that they had several years plus an extra 4 months to make this happen and still couldn't hit the date.

I hope they boost their signal from 720P to 1080P. There is nothing like NFL in FULL HD.

No broadcast station broadcast 1080p - It will not happen for YEARS to come, due to limitations of current digital broadcast equipment. The national FOX is 720p broadcast anyway. Would require all stations to upgarde their hardware, again.

720p vs 1080i is not really an upgrade. People may talk about pixel count but the fact remains that 720p from Fox looks just as good as 1080i from the other stations.

true but to us techies...1080i vs 720 makes it much better even if it is just numbers.
