I am a single mother trying to make my way through school. I was working an 80 hour week, bringing in the money and going to school, but my son (recently diagnosed with autism and ADHD) wasn't getting enough attention and falling behind on his schooling. He didn't speak until he was 4, and just recently potty trained at almost 6. I am still attending college and don’t want to give that up, but I’m running out of options. I lost my apartment due to job loss and had to move in with my parents. That wouldn't be so bad, except they have their own financial struggles in which put them in a one bedroom house of which my son and I have lived in the living room. Not to mention, they’re a little tired on me being there. I tried to apply for housing, but because of my past rental history (owe 2000 for leaving my previous apartment before the lease was up) they refuse to rent to me even though I wouldn't have had to pay them anything based on my current income. I have student loans, need a new car or just fix the one I have (another 3,000), and personal loans, bad bank accounts, and medical bills (about 10,000) due to no insurance. I can't seem to find a job that coincides with my son's schedule. If I take a job working at night (something I haven't done since high school), my son will fall behind again. I can't find a day job that is serious. I have been looking for 7 months. I am half way through college; I have excellent references, and am skilled in many areas. However, I have only had 2 job interviews that were legit. Any suggestions?

I don't know what kind of jobs you were looking for, but many times preschools/daycares are good jobs if you need to work around a kids schedule.
