I don't remember that it was boring. We stopped in Destin and looked at the white sand beaches. Lots of tall pine trees in places. It was no where near as destitute as driving from here to SW Kansas up through Amarillo.
I lived in Key West for 6 years and you are making me want to hit the road and look for some Cuban Bread, Black beans and Rice, and Chicken and Yellow Rice.
