There was a news story last night about things being revealed that hadn't been for a long time. Foundations from an old Ranch house that hasn't seen the light of day since the 1950's, they showed pictures of the dam and the high water marks....Some of the things left underwater that still haven't seen the light of day, at least since before the 1950's is the main ranch house, a cemetery, and some more of the old pecan groves. They said little bits of the grove are starting to show, however.

This link from LCRA includes a slide show with photos from different eras when the lake was down. A portion of the final paragraph (copied below) from this 2006 article has a lot of truth to it.
