What is the going local price for removing a dead cedar tree? It is about 20 feet tall. Anyone had one taken down recently?

I had a 30' oak tree removed two years ago and it was around $1K. To grind the stump was an extra $300. It was overhanging the roof so that may have made it more expensive.

I had 3 trees removed 3 years ago after a bad wind storm. As I recall the costs were as follows +/- :

20' Chinese Tallow $600 + a lot of other yard trimming done at the same time. Package price.
25' Bradford Pear $ 900
30' Chinese Pistach $1,100

Stump Grinding extra $120-$250
