While it's good to hear that he may be (possibly) out of the woods, it is also sad to know that he's most likely going to be brain-damaged for the rest of his life now and won't be the free spirit he once was...

Fret not...many people have recovered when officially they were suppose to be brain-damaged forever.

Well, I don't know how to answer that except to say that each should have the right to his/her own opinion.

I am actually surprised that Austin, as our capital city, does not seem to mind a half-naked man wandering up and down Congress Avenue, but that's just me. I suppose that he just liked the attention and shock value--and Austin just went along with him.

Yes, I found the family quotes very reassuring.. they say he was happy and doing what he enjoyed.
