Whom are the leaders in the Austin Marketplace for Short sale assistance? Most metro areas have companies who specialize in Short Sale/Pre-forclosures such as Homevestors or George Roddy. Some Broker/Real Estate agents specialize in this field.

Knolly Williams is a short sale expert.
Knolly Williams - Homepage

He has a team of people who know the system and how to get everything done. He actually wrote a book about it and teaches other agents nationwide how to do Short Sales. Since he's here in Austin, I'd use him.

We did a few of these and quit doing it. Super high red tape and hassle. Don't use someone who doesn't do high volume short sales. The high volume people already know the people they need to deal with on the other end at most of the big banks and they know how to move the deal through the red tape.
