Recession is over nationally, GDP has stopped shrinking. The problem is recovery in jobs doesn't happen until GDP is higher than workforce population growth and we're already in a hole with high unemployment. It will still feel like a recession for some time.

With our dollar in the tank, it is all smoke & mirrors.

We are a long way from being out of a recession.

Congrats! It's good to hear that some companies are hiring...
For those who are still looking, hanging in there.

I'm just putting it out there for anyone looking for a job and don't mind call-center work, but Sears Holding in Round Rock (on 45/Louis Henna) is hiring. It starts at $11-$11.75/hr and the benefits aren't too bad.

Hope this helps someone out. This is were I just got hired on...

What he said!

Most people don't even begin to understand what the definition of a "recession" is. Employment is only one aspect of it and is a lagging indicator.
