Is there a way to report an unsafe playground? My apartment complex has 2 playscapes that are not being maintained. The mulch under the playscapes has not been replaced to the point of seeing more landscaping fabric than mulch. Basically if a kid falls off they are going to hit packed earth from a 6-8ft drop. I am going to express my concerns in writing, but it would be great to have some type of code to referrence. Also, the gate to the main pool (which is supposed to lock) does not latch at all and can be pushed open, which as a parent to 2 young children, is quite concerning.

I have spoken with someone in the office twice and I know another set of parents have spoken with office staff, but nothing is being done.

Thanks!

Dial 3-1-1 and ask for code enforcement to inspect the address.
