Does anyone know of thrift stores in the Austin area with a selection of clothing for teens/juniors? Goodwill seems limited in this area, even when looking in both the children and adult sections.

Buffalo Exchange on Guadalupe (next to Toy Joy) is one favored by teenagers/college students I know. Maybe your teen's preferences are completely different, but it's worth having a look around.

Another vote for Buffalo Exchange. It's a treasure trove of great clothing.

You can also sell your clothing at Buffalo Exchange but be forewarned: they are extremely picky about what they accept. It has to be in great condition and very in-style. You won't get much cash out of the deal, but they offer a better bargain if you opt for store credit instead. All in all a cool system.

Recycled clothing has done well by us -both buying and selling. Sometimes we see our own clothes on the rack!

Buffalo Exchange and Plato's closet are the bomb! At least that is what my teenaged granddaughter tells me!
