Hi,

I have been checking reviews for lots of apartment complexes on South Congress... and lots of people complain about noisy neighbors and people who party everyday till the morning. Any opinions on reviews you have seen online? I am looking to move and will be working full time during the week... so it is a concern to me. Then again, i want to be very close to downtown if not downtown, since i will be working there and want to have easy access to nightlife. SOCO is a bit better with price it seems then downtown. I am used to noise outside since i have lived next to an airport, and it did not bother me. But airplane noise is different then neighbor noise (as i have experienced from college). Is South Congress known for being a noisy area in general?

Yes, but you'll be seen as hip if you live there. Suffer for your cred!

Try looking over near South Lamar/Ben White. Slightly different crowd, still "hip", might be a bit quieter.
