Is your winter here like this until spring? Warm, cold, colder, rain, warm, warmer, cold, colder, rain?

Yes, but some years with less rain. In January or February you may be able to add "ice" to the cycle. But you never know. Last year, we were planning a January wedding and HAD to find a place that could seat 200 indoors. Turns out, the day was so warm we could've had an outdoor wedding!

LOL...hahaha...

the Spring, Summer and Fall do their normal thing (if you consider normal, as we do, 90 degrees or higher)

Winters are always a toss up in Austin. that's why I recommend people to invest in fleece sweaters, thermal underwear and just enjoy collecting nice leather jackets for cheap prices. you'll get to wear them when you go home..lol

I've been through about 5 winters here and there have been days where I'm out in shorts and a tshirt one day and its 20-some degrees the next. This is the most rain we've had since I've been here, but it was expected because we're on the back half of an El Nino.

Yes the percipitation is more than usual this year. The wild temperature swings here are typical during the winter.

I think we are on the front half of El Nino, aren't we?

But in general our winter weather is highly variable. They said on the TV news last night we are so far about 7 degrees colder in December than our averages.

But it is highly probable that I can ride our jetski without a wetsuit sometime in the next month!
