I apologize: 15th worst in the country: Study: West Campus among most crime-ridden neighborhoods

This is considered "NW central Austin".

Stay west of 35 and you'll be just fine.

Sorry, West Campus is Central Austin. NW Central Austin would be more along the lines of Northwest Hills and Highland Park.

..I agree, stay someplace west of 35, like West Campus for example, where you have a 50% chance of getting robbed within a year.

swap out the word "35" with "Mopac" and Eepstein's statement would be accurate. There is a lot of sketchiness between these two highways, including rich neighborhoods next to Pease park with million dollar homes and barbed-wire fences between them and the park, for example. You don't see that kind of stuff while driving down Lamar, but it's there.

I've heard if you've got the money, you can find all sorts of entertainment on Rundberg. Americas oldest profession can be found here.

I seriously doubt that the Pilgrims brought whores with them on the Mayflower.

Ok, maybe not Americas but I have often heard it referred to as the World's Oldest Profession. The Mayflower Madam is supposedly a descendant of the Mayflower pilgrims although that is in no way an indication that her ancestors were also prostitutes.
