Looking at a house that is on Airline Terrace in Pilot Knob. Looks like an older neighborhood with nice trees (from what I can see of the two pictures on the internet). Anybody have any experience with this area? How's the neighborhood? Good for kids (ages 8 and 10)?

From the Google street view, it looks like the kids would need to get a pre-emptive tetanus shot before living there.

How are you looking at the street view? I'm only getting a satellite view from the top.

Zoom in all the way, or drag the orange icon that looks like a person onto a highlighted blue route. You can't get on the actuall street, but you can see it from the adjacent road. Unless you have a good reason to live there, I wouldn't. If budget is an issue, I would buy in Manor or Elgin. I think brand new KB homes around McKinney Falls start in the 125K range if you want to be in the city.
