I'm following it on Twitter, folks are saying that the FBI office was not hit, the FBI is not in the building that the plane crashed into but in another building within the same office complex.

I hope that everyone in ALL the buildings are safe.

Breakaway is an airplane landing strip close by that area in a high end residential neighborhood. I wonder if one of those guys crashed because they do a lot of flying around in that area.

The plane hit the IRS offices in Austin and this was intentional! The pilot is dead and they said he set fire to his home and then crashed his plane into the building. Just awful

Yes, I just heard about the pilot setting his house on fire on Twitter, crazy if true. The big IRS complex in austin is south (blocks from me), I never even know that the IRS had offices elsewhere in town. I wonder if the IRS was a deliberate target why they picked that place and not the larger complex.

I'm still reserving judgement until more facts are in, what I'm seeing on Twitter is a crazy mish-mash.

Where did you hear this? Are you sure it's not just a rumor?

Looks like a wake up call for the IRS...

Quote:
The Internal Revenue Service has offices in the building, including its civil enforcement and criminal investigations divisions, said Special Agent Michael Lemoine, a spokesman for the criminal investigations division.

He said that some IRS offices are on the first floor, which Lemoine said was hit by the plane

They're saying the plane took off from that airport and aimed straight towards it.
