When I stood on Congress in 03 waiting for the airport bus I was very comfortable and sad to be leaving. I always wanted to return. Now 6.5 years later and much broker I have that itch again. I had some issues back at that time, but I have become a better person. Alcohol is not the problem it was. While broke and in a bad economy I am tempted to just get on the bus. If I end up homeless, at least I'll be in Austin. I think I'd rather be a broke struggling loser in Austin than being here. Life is too short and I'll be freaking 42 on tuesday. Stay tuned. Maybe April-May. I want to at least catch a Phillies game and the local Minor League affiliate before I make my escape.

I'm a Philadelphia native roughing it out here in Austin, turning 30 this year. I figure I'll die here broke, it'll kill me to have to go back there.

Maybe we can share a box with a big red P on the side. I'm guessing you're talking about the Reading Phillies, Scranton is out of the way.

Chin up and take heart. Man has sailed rougher seas and lived to tell the tales. Just as the flapping wings of a butterfly in the amazon can end up causing a hurricane, your first step towards where your heart tells you to head, may be the impetus for the purpose in your life. Go for it!
