Could someone please let me know about the amenities in Behrens Ranch? And how does that compare to Teravista? Thanks.

If you currently live in Behrens Ranch, are you happy with the community there? Thanks.

You can only compare Teravista and Behren's Ranch to a small degree. Behrens does not have a golf course and doesn't have the amenities that go with a golf course. It is also not nearly as big as Teravista with a whole lot less homes. Behren's has pool facilities, hike and bike trails & an amenity center.

We looked at both communities seriously before we bought last year. We chose Behrens. In my opinion it was hands down the better option for us. The natural beauty of Behrens was the number one reason we chose it. The neighborhood is filled with huge mature oak trees where Teravista has very few trees other the starter ones that homebuilders install. The fact that Behrens is also a small community was also a strong point for us. We saw where Teravista is still years from being built out, where Behrens can realistically be done in just a few years. That was a bonus for re-sell time.

Also factoring in our decision was Cactus Ranch elementary in our neighborhood. While Teravista has a brand new school and surely will be good, Cactus has the reputation of being a stellar school year in and year out. Also, the tax rate between Behrens and Teravista was significantly different. Behrens is much cheaper, therefore you get more for your money.

Both are great neighborhoods, but in our opinion there really was no choice to be made. We absolutely love it in Behrens Ranch!

We live in Behren's and love it too. It is quite and at the entrance we have a light that must be timed because we never wait for it to turn green. It feels like and older neighborhood with the big trees.
