I've been looking around for a daycare assistant/floater teaching position for the past few weeks, but am not having much luck. I'm fairly new to Austin, don't have any children of my own, and google mainly comes up with the chain child care centers like Goddard, Children's Courtyard, Children's Center of Austin, etc. Does anyone know of other daycares that I could look into?

Thank you!

I have been looking for similar positions and find quite a bit on craigslist.org One of them is having a jobfair this week...saw on craigs list. Just search jobs in the education area and you will find it.

There is always a decent bit of turnover in most daycare jobs (the pay just isn't that great ), so you should be able to come up with a job in time. Problem is, most people will qualify for the jobs, so there may be a lot of people looking for the same jobs as you. If you have certifications/experience, it should make it mush easier.
