Can someone tell me about an alleged river walk somewhere in Austin? Thanks.

I've never seen one or heard of it. I've only been to the trails around Lake Austin.

Maybe you've heard about the plans they are considering for the Waller Creek area:

The Daily Texan (broken link)

Right now, Waller Creek does have a small walkable portion behind some restaurants but it's in disrepair and not too attractive.

Thanks for the info. Actually, I first heard about this around 1998, but it was something that I thought already existed. I haven't been around the lake much so I will check that out next time I have the chance.
