There is a pointy, purple flower I see in bloom now that is lovely. Does anyone know what it is?

Nothing looked familiar. It can be a shrub but I've seen it as a tree too. It reminded me of a butterfly bush type flower.

Love, love, LOVE chaste trees! (Or shrubs.)

They're supposed to be good for PMS, too. Maybe that's why.
