Well all in all I think we have got it pretty good in this country

But maybe because of our English heritage, we like to complain with the best of them

Anyhow 'Choice' did a survey on what annoys Australians the most, this is the Top 32 below
That's so annoying: what Australians complain about the most

1 - Hidden fees and costs
2 - No refund/replacement for faulty products, despite being under warranty
3 - Being on hold/not getting someone on the phone
4 - Tailgating
5 - No response to written or verbal complaints
6 - People talking loudly on mobiles in an inappropriate area
7 - Door-to-door salespeople/telemarketers
8 - People coughing in an enclosed area without covering their mouth
9 - Confusing broadband/phone price plans
10 - Nonchalant customer service
11 - Erroneous bills
12 - Cigarette butts littering public areas
13 - Unreliable internet
14 - Poor advice from financial planners
15 - Spam email
16 - Late repair people
17 - Noisy neighbours
18 - Long queues/checkout lines
19 - Companies only letting you pay by automatic deduction
20 - Poor service from airlines
21 - Shrunken products
22 - Traffic jams
23 - Very slow drivers
24 - Purchase thwarted by sorry, out of stock
25 - Not getting a parking space
26 - Supermarket grocery prices
27 - Forgetting passwords/PINs
28 - Parking fines
29 - Crying babies on planes
30 - Programming new electronic products
31 - Loyalty cards
32 - Inaccurate weather forecasts.

Just to add my 2 cents

I hate how Real Estates Prices are so High
Unlike above a don't really have a problem with Internet services, but its too costly
Traffic in general, just to much growth for our cities to handle

Thats about it for me really...other than Collingwood winning the Grand Final

That's just modern life, isn't it? People everywhere like to complain when it comes down to it. But we have shows like 'A Current Affair' and 'Today Tonight' which just wallow in this sort of stuff.

Saints got lucky the first time round. They didn't even show up in round 2. I swear the real saints are their supporters, sticking with them for this long. I do feel for them though that's shocking, it's like they've been knocking on the door of the premiership for the last 12 years or so (from when they lost the GF to Adelaide in 97 or 98) but just can't get through it. Losing two grannies is a row is pretty hard to take, as Collingwood also found out in 02, 03, but no team has had it worse than St. Kilda.

Yes it is, in fact that list above could come from any country

Though I think some of the things on the list are unique to this part of the world

Country and regional areas complain about the city, and lack of input from the state government.
Maybe that is about to change with the influence of the Independents.
