Don't sweat it mini, it was more aimed at those uber-PC folk that are taking over! lol

It's another of those words that's viewed as offensive elswhere, the US, but not here. I recall some court case in the US over the Washington Redskins name being deemed offensive by a native American group. Can't remember the outcome but since they've retained their name, maybe the case was lost? I dunno, I do respect that we should not intentionally offend but it seems like it could never end.

LOL Seinfeld - I remember that episode. Jerry buys that Cigar Store Indian for Elaine and offends his girlfriend. All the while he was trying to not offend her by not saying things like 'I made a reservation', or that he bought tickets from a 'scalper'. He did manage to pi** her off with "Indian-giver" ... poor Jerry.

Which reminds me of the classic from Seinfeld: We're not gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that! One of those classic lines that people repeat. Like "don't double-dip".

Just another example of the ever tightening grip of this freaking communist nanny state.

Calling them 'Red Indians' or 'Indians' has been un-PC for what, probably 15 years at least, now they're 'Native Americans.' It was also un-PC to call blacks black for awhile, it seems, but I guess too many people, even blacks themselves, used it so they gave up. A bit like how it was un-PC to call the United States 'America' at one time.
