"...Hey Jonesy, give us a hand with a job Saturday..."
"...Mate, your dreaming!..."

"...Aussies..."
"...No surprises there..."

I think its all fair in love and war when its comes to Aussies and Kiwi's Coldy

I wouldn't take it too seriously, there just having a bit of fun
It would only be offensive if there was an actual stereotype of Aussie's being lazy, which I think would be news to me

I wasn't taking it seriously at all.
Just added in smilies to show what the character's moods were,
as I wasn't sure if anyone was watching the link.

I loved the way they were having a go at Aussies.
I liked how the kids were talking like blokey-men and that they put "Jonesy" in Aussie sports attire.
I only typed it out to show what was my favourite part.
Text leaves a lot to be desired for, as you can't see facial expressions or hear voice tones.

My Bad, I guess I paid to much attention to the smilies

It is funny commercial, the kids do get the wording just right. In fact it kind of made me realize that the way Aussies and Kiwi's speak is exactly the same. The accent might be different, but we all talk in that same blokey fashion. In fact if it wasn't for the accent, the way the kids where speaking would have me believe it was an Aussie commercial

"...Oh come on mate do it yourself..."
"...She's a pretty big job..."
"...You ill be right..."
"...You reckon..."
"...You will knock it off in half a day..."

Thanks all for posting these ads..... Found myself smiling and had a few laughs. Wish America and Mexico had the same relationship as you all....

I could picture ads like these running on American TV..... People from both countries would be out demonstrating in the streets.

Reminds me of the posters around London in the eighties for a Kiwi beer.
It went what do you call a sophisicated Aussie? (answer) A New Zealander.

Silly aussie

Mitre 10 NZ is a separate chain, not owned by Mitre 10 Aus

Those Aussie ads are funny, seen them before, but Aussies are to lazy to invade, we are safe
