Dont know about Bligh making a comeback hopefully people will soon remember that their is much more to running a state than crying while giving weather reports (which might be another reason we like bad female leaders, they show more emotion) .
Bottom line is however, if the LNP get their act into gear, Blighs slogan should be pretty much the same as the NSW labor one. Now we have "Can Do" newman running against her hopefully the libs will make a bit of a come back.

Your talking to the wrong guy however, Im a one eyed liberal and would never vote labor. Im not much of an abbott fan however.

Anyway, whats the chance of us winning the cricket tonight? Just checked and its looks like it's not on TV until 11pm! Looks like a trip to the pub for me tonight, glad my wife is working.

haha
she did do a reasonable job in time of crisis though (well that is how it appeared) the real test will be the upcoming next months.

Can I just say, I am meant to vote tomorrow and I am pretty sure I will forget.

This has to be the worst build-up to a state election EVER. It appears that both parties are just going thru the motions hoping for it to be over soon.

Yeah, the motivation factor for voting must be down around zero, eh? At least if it's close you're anxious to make sure your vote counts, to help your man over the line but from what I've been hearing, it'll be a train wreck.

NSW Labor is gone for at least 2 terms, and they have been humbled in their ""Heartland regions"", such as Western Sydney, the Hunter (Newcastle-Hunter Valley) and Illawarra (Wollongong-south coast) regions.
The Independent ""brand"" has also been damaged by Rob Oakshott and Tony Windsor, resulting in some losses at state level.

Yes. Exactly how I feel. Been tempted to vote Independent in the past, as a bit of a protest vote, but not anymore. They're not really Independent at all, not really lone rangers keeping the bastards honest. They can be totally bought, even so far as to reject the majority of their constituents.

Im no Hanson Supporter but i hate our preferential voting system. We should have a one vote one count system. Not a system where if you vote green you are effectivley voting labour and vice versa.
