A stong south-westerly change came through yesterday night, dropping temps quite dramatically yesterday and today, only 22-23C max yesterday.
Needed a blanket last night to sleep!
Should be back to high 20's by tomorrow.
I believe there was even some late snow on the Snowies!

Well we are having the most unusual weather event in brisbane today, the sun is shining, and its an average 28c.

Any more heavy rain and the chances of me driving to my parents place for christmas about 300 km west of hear are going to be virtually zero.

Yeah I heard the weather has been pretty extreme up north too...just saw some of the Penrith hail storm footage on youtube and it looked like snow! Who says we can't have a white Christmas down under

Hope you make it to your parents', danielsa1775. I also hope it stays clear for Xmas day as we have to drive across town to our rellies.

26c yesterday in Invercargill with wind gusts nearing 100km/h, southerly change this morning bought thunder and lightning with brief heavy rain.

Been a very dry month here so far, On Sunday we had only received 7.8mm of rain.

It was 26C here in Sydney today.

Yesterday I went for a daytrip to Katoomba, where it was clear and 19C, most of the day was in the low teens. It's interesting how different the temperature is up there, since they are 1000m above sea level

Christmas Day here in Perth and it's about 36C just before noon!

Been in the pool once already. Made the cranberry sauce, now doing the stuffing. Apple Pie is in the oven. Once that's out, turkey will go in and I'll go in the pool again.

Happy Christmas everyone!
