Seems like the problem is when a very large group of immigrants moves to your country and has a desire to create and maintain their own separate autonomous group and pick an choose from their host country what they want to take. As an American, If I chose to immigrate and take on Australian citizenship I would want to be an Australian, not an American living in Australia. It does make it easier when we almost speak the same language
Good grief, are you actually aware of the scale of violence they've had in the UK and France, even Sweden?
I remember the 2005 event in Aus and the 2011 events in the UK for example...................not seeing a difference at all except the numbers rioting on prime time TV. If you think what you see on Prime time TV news is a accurate scale reflection of the underlying problem then you are sadly mistaken!
There is VERY clear evidence Australia has similar problems on a similar scale, I find your judgements on certain European nations amusing!.

NZ is no "melting pot paradise either", yes the Indigionous people were treated a LOT better than here in Australia and still are , but racism is still very much alive in NZ as well, I am a realist. Plenty of scuffles in the 80's in the Robert Muldoon years.

No one has ever claimed there are no racist people here. What irks most people is the summation that Australia is inherently more racist than any other Western nation. This is incorrect.
Also I find it so peculiar that this site is obsessed with race.

Are you going to tell us what that objective and verifiable evidence is? Perhaps relating to the number of lives lost, amount of property destroyed, and prolonged social disruption due to race related riots?

Yeah it's pretty stereotypical...I can see why people might think that, since racism here seems more open, even though a small group perpetrates it, but I haven't really lived in other countries long enough to compare.

Videos posted already. Deep seated racial tensions in Australian society. Like a alcoholic you can just Denny the problem exists or face them.
I have heard some pretty appealing remarks about Aborigines since I have been here from Australian born citizens, usually around drunkenness and imprisonment etc.
I am not beating up on Australia it is neither better or worst than most other developed countries.

.
Sorry, they're just anecdotes of your own selection.
I've heard Aussies make pretty harsh comments about the attitudes they've seen and heard in NZ. Is that objective and verifiable evidence that Kiwis are essentially xenophobic and racist?

Sure like the selections you picked out about Europe.
I am not judging the likes of the UK as less racially tolerant than NZ like you are with Australia.
Go into the UK section and post Australia is more racially tolerant the UK and lets see the response, their perception I am sure is quite different
Did you misread my post? I said Australia hasn't seen the large scale riots that countries like the UK and France have.
Dunno if you consider the Cronulla riots riots.
